Scena lies on a sun-kissed hill above Merano in South Tyrol at 600 metres above sea level. The Krebishof is located at 700 metres above sea level and is surrounded by vineyards and orchards.
The municipality of Schenna covers an area of 48 km2 and stretches from the limits of the village of Meran (300 m) to the two local mountains: the Hirzer (2781 m) and the Ifinger (2581 m).

With mild temperatures of up to 20 °C, Schenna offers traditional festivals, markets and plenty of traditional Törggelen feasts, which celebrate the grape harvest. Many huts and cable cars stay open until well into November. The golden valleys and hills, rich orchards and autumn-scented meadows are a real incentive for leisurely and challenging autumn hikes.

However, those who are into skiing and tobogganing also get their money's worth in the family-friendly Meran 2000 ski resort. The wintersports paradise of Meran 2000 is only a stone's throw away from Schenna, which means that guests can confidently leave their cars where they are. Just 4 km away from Scena (only 6 minutes by Skibus) is the Meran 2000 cable car, which will take you directly to the slopes.
